Hey everyone! I have finally completed the WordPress move.. I think. Some links on some of the blog posts still don’t work but I’m going to take a little break from fixing the blog for now and focus on writing up a new post instead.
My friend and I have finally , finally agreed on what cities we would visit when we go to Europe and I wanted to share it with you guys. We’ve also booked all of the hotels, which reminds me I need to make some minor date changes with the hotel reservations.
Planning a holiday has never been this intense for me.. I usually just book flights to a city and just wing it from there. This trip has taken about 3 months to plan and we’re still in the process of planning on whether it’s better for us to fly or catch trains (time vs money) in between cities.
Anyway, I can’t believe it’s already almost the end of April – two more months and we’ve hit the halfway mark for 2015. Craaaazy. Before I know it, it will be August and it will be time for us to jet off to our next adventure.
Here are the list of cities we are visiting:
We are off to visit the queen! We’ll be spending 3 nights in London when we first arrive and another night on the way back. Some of the attractions that we want to visit are Abbey Road, Buckingham Palace and Warner Bros Studio, for Harry Potter of course! I can’t even tell you how much I’m looking forward to getting my hands on a cup of Butterbeer! I mainly want to just take my time walking around the city and being the foodie that I am, find some places that serve good food.
Next stop is Scotland! Based on photos that I’ve seen of Edinburgh I can say that it’s a beautiful city. I can’t wait.
Temple Bar is at the top of my list! We are also hiring a car and driving down to Cork.
We have 3 nights in Paris because we want to do so much there. We want to be able to have a picnic under the Eiffel Tower, see the Moulin Rouge, Arc de Triomphe, The Louvre and also visit Disneyland.
From France we go straight to Italy and our first stop is Venice! Gondola rides and gelato.. yes please!
From Florence we also do a day trip to Cinque Terre.
So much to do, so little time! Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Pantheon, Sistine Chapel, Vatican City and a day trip to Pompeii.
Greece!! I’ve always dreamed about going to Greece one day. I never thought it would come true though. Athens is our first stop. Looking forward to eating some gyros.
Our last attempt to party. Can’t wait to visit Little Venice and admire the Cycladic architecture in this city!
Our last days in Greece will be spent relaxing. Maybe doing some cheeky cliff jumps too but mainly massages, watching the sunset, good food and just slowing the pace down and taking it all in.
If you guys have any suggestions of things to do and places to see, please let me know in the comments below! I’ve never been to Europe so I’m quite stressed out and worried that we’ll miss something and regret not doing it!
